Fallin' For Yosemite

Some new postcards to look at from this very fine day in Yosemite, April 28th. This morning I took a quick hop, skip and jump up the falls trail and then stopped in at my one job across the street, to then walk home and go to my other job the rest of the day. A full day in Yosemite and the reason we are all here. And I got to have lunch with my wife. It was a good day.

March Outakes

I wanted something to post, so I dug through some snapshots from March (back when I was actually taking pictures) and found some I liked: a soft color palette postcard of Grizzly Peak, and a vivid color postcard taken of the creek behind our neighborhood. Enjoy, because its been awhile and will begin again soon.

Fallin' For Nevada

Vernal and Nevada Falls are back in fashion, and dressed up and looking good. Took a spin up the steps today with Bryan and Jason- we put the band back together. And thinking out loud next to Laura, I wonder if "Nevada" could be a girl's name. Enjoy today's postcard, snapped today.

Yosemite Today

Out for a walk with my wife after work, and passed through the Lodge at the Falls Hotel taking this little snapshot of some of man's architecture and above it some of mother nature's. Enjoy.

Yosemite Yesterday

The title is a play on one of the Chris Robinson Brotherhood songs we heard the other day: "Tulsa Yesterday." And its true. This postcard was taken in Yosemite, yesterday. Enjoy.

Visalia Nights

Laura and I went and saw the Chris Robinson Brotherhood on Wednesday night at the Cellar Door in Visalia. It was my kind of show- it began at 9:45pm and ended at 1:15am. Fast songs, slow songs, instrumentals, cover songs, reminding me of various Jerry Garcia side projects, especially Legion of Mary from '74-'75... a group of musicians who just want to go out and play music and travel around. No time to sit around the house. Damn, we had a great time.
